About the Game
Work Life Balance is a narrative adventure game set in a near-future dystopia where a corporation controls every aspect of daily life, from housing and food to work assignments and social status.
With no traditional combat or character stats, players progress by exploring the environment, collecting clues, and entering the protagonist’s mind. Through its Maze of Thought and Maze of Debate systems, players organize fragmented thoughts, uncover contradictions, and confront the beliefs that keep the protagonist trapped within the corporate system.
The game combines dark corporate satire with a deeply personal story about work, identity, and the difficult question of what it means to live a fulfilling life.
